Well.. it is 2007 and the year looks to bring promising things. Health is at the top of the list. Cassius had his 9 month appointment this past week. He weighs 22 pounds (lost two pounds from his cold and teething) and he is 29" tall. He is in the 75th percentile which means he is just right.. not too skinny or too fat.
His pediatrician also pointed out that he is advanced for his age developmentally. To name a few things, he can already walk along furniture and can sort-of stand by himself for a second or two. He also has expanded his vocabulary beyond Da's and O's.. He now can incorporate Ba's, La's, Ya's and MMMmmm's. Still no ma-ma.. but daddy thinks that his "mama" is actually a whine-sounding "Emmmm" when he tries to call me. I'm not sure if I'm sold on that because he makes the "Emmmm" sound whenever he fusses. I digress.
Cassius also got a haircut at the barbershop today. He did a pretty good job for a 9 month old. I think he looks pretty good. There is milk on his chin because having the bottle helped him sit still a little more.
Here are a few photos of Cassius visiting with his cousins Kaylyn and Logan. These are pictures of Kaylyn opening her Christmas gifts since April and Kaylyn didn't make it to Aunt Mary's on Christmas.
