| Cassius Rolls Over 90 Percent |

Cassius was trying today to roll over on his own. We finally got to a point where he made it 90% of the way but then I had to help since his arm got stuck.

I was out shopping with my youngest sister today and we came across the cutest items. In particular, the Howdy shirt and Cowboy hat from Old Navy.
Last night at Target, I put him in a bumbo seat and he really liked it.. but didn't buy it b/c they only had girl colors. Well.. I had to go back to Target today for more frames and went back to the baby section and found a teal blue bumbo seat.. so I grabbed it. He loves it!
The blue outfit was what he was wearing before I changed him.
He discovered his hands
Cowboy shirt.. and I cleaned off the prunes on his face (lol)
Massive double chin.. what can I say.. the boy loves to eat.

Today, Cassius had his four month photos taken. He did such a great job. I was fairly surprised because he was becoming tired as we went into our photo appointment.
Voila! (He scratched his face when he was doing the "I'm tired" eye rub.)

| 4 Months Old |

Cassius is 4 months old today.
He saw the pediatrician and we have fantastic news! Cassius is in the 95th percentile for weight and the 75th percentile for height. He is 27" tall and weighs 17 pounds 14 ounces.
The doctor was ok with us feeding Cassius solids. She even recommended that we stop giving him formula since he is doing so well. Cassius can start drinking juice when he is able to start drinking from a sippy cup. I estimate that to be in about a month and 2 weeks.
He received four immunization shots today so he's not feeling very well or has any inclination to take any 4 month celebratory photos. The photos will resume tomorrow. I'm sure we'll find a handsome outfit to mark this milestone. |

Tonight, Cassius finished his first container of carrots. The jars/containers of food he's been eating before were only half-attempts as I feared giving him the entire contents would upset his stomach.
Nope. My son is a champ. He ate it all and begged for more!
This is Cassius' "Give me more this instant, mommy!" look:
And here are some more from the other night. Cassius and I were cruising TV stations... not that we have a lot to begin with.. but, he's looking as bored as I that evening. And if you pay close attention, you'll notice his little rub spots on his head. He's a curious little man.. he likes to turn his head all over the place to take in as much as he can. However, in the process, he's rubbed off his awesome hair.
