It certainly has been fun celebrating a lot of firsts in our new home. This is our first new year's in the home and it was absolutely perfect. We spend the evening together, no grand to-do's.. just a quiet environment with a little PBS NY Philharmonic at the Lincoln Center. Cassius and I got to enjoy one of my favorite musical pieces, Ravel's Bolero. Cassius was into the performance as much as I was!
Well.. on a lighter note, we rang in the new year with sparkling cider. As you'd guess, Cassius loved it!
Well, we went out to celebrate his 18 month birthday on Wednesday at Amazing Jakes. Cassius had a great time--he ate lots of his favorite pizza (pepperoni) and got to play some really cool games. He rode the train and merry-go-round as well as test his aiming at the skee-ball machine. He racked up major points and was able to win some money (play) and a wristband when he turned in his tickets.
Anyway, Halloween is coming up and we finally got to get his costume.
In case you couldn't guess, he's going to be a spider this year.
