Cassius, being the big boy he is, has finally moved into a big boy bed! We were so excited to set it up and were really happy with the linens that Aunt Gabby provided. When we finally showed Cassius, he misinterpreted this awesome new thing as "go to bed." Aww, poor little guy cried his heart out. :( We only wanted to show him his new bed.
Its going to take some getting used to but I'm sure he'll come to love it.
On 4th of July weekend, we went to Tuscon to beat the heat and visit Grandpa Greene. We had a great time and it was nice to get out of the city. Cassius especially liked his first trip to the zoo. I think his favorite was seeing the "waffes."
Tonight was Cassius' second night using his floties. I'd have to say with much pride that the kid sure catches on fast! He's been working with daddy on his kicks and becoming more confident about swimming that tonight, he was able to do some solo swimming action.
we're still working on not swallowing water.. but this is a big step for our little guy! WTG Cass!

Cassius had a good time at his Aunt Gabby's a few weeks ago. So much fun was had that the obligatory "fall in the mud" was successfully executed. And what better way to cool off AND clean off any excess mud?
